It's been two months since the February 10th tornado ripped through the Pine Belt and the city of Hattiesburg is slowly recovering and rebuilding.
Debris cleanup is one of the city's major focuses in recovering from the tornado.
Initially the last day city crews were picking up debris was set for April 15th. According to city officials that deadline has been extended for two weeks. The new deadline is set for April 29.
Residents are urged to not slow down clean up and continue to bring debris to the curbside for pick up.
