State juco softball tourney postponed until Sunday and Monday

Because of expected continued rain in the Perkinston area, the 2013 MACJC State Softball Tournament has been moved to Sunday/Monday.

The game times will remain the same for the tournament, which will take place at Ross-Smith Field on the campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

The 8th-ranked and defending state champion Jones County Junior College Lady Bobcats will open the tournament at noon Sunday vs. Holmes.

All JCJC games in the tournament will be webcast www.jcjc.tv.

Game 3, East Central (30-14, South No. 3) vs. East Mississippi (24-18, North No. 2), 4 p.m.

Game 4, Miss. Gulf Coast (31-8, South No. 1) vs. Northeast (23-14-1, North No. 4), 6 p.m.

Game 6, Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner, 2 p.m.
