Jeff Haeger

A Pass Christian, MS native, Jeff Haeger graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2013 with a degree in broadcast journalism. He's been hooked on sports ever since watching Michael Jordan in the 1997 NBA finals, and chose broadcast journalism as a means to express that passion. He now does so five days a week, as he was hired to work as a full-time digital journalist for WHLT-TV CBS 22 in 2013.

He replaces Cuonzo Martin, who went 63-41 in three seasons before leaving for California a week ago. Tyndall was 56-17 with a pair of NIT appearances in two seasons at Southern Mississippi.
