Lady Bobcats finish 19th in tennis nationals

The Jones County Junior College Lady Bobcats finished 19th in the NJCAA Division I Tennis Tournament, which concluded Thursday at the Reffkin Tennis Center.

JCJC finished with nine points.

Tyler Junior College (Texas) won its fourth straight national championship with 46 points. ASA College (N.Y.) finished second with 42.5 points, Collin County Community College (Texas) was third with 32 points and Florida State College-Jacksonville was fourth with 31 points.

Meridian Community College finished eighth with 21.5 points, while Itawamba tied for 15th with 11.5 points.
