Lady Crusaders advance to Semi's with 5-4 win over SCAD

Mobile, Ala. - William Carey captured four of the six singles matches as they defeated Savannah College of Arts & Design, 5-4 to advance to the semi-finals of the 2013 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The Lady Crusaders fell behind 2-1 after doubles action but rallied in singles. After falling in No. 1 and No. 2 singles WCU answered by winning Nos. 3-6 singles to clinch the match. Julia Angerman secured the clinching point for the Lady Crusaders as she gutted out a three set win over Ancila Daniella, 2-6,  7-6 (7-4), 6-2.

The Lady Crusaders will take on number one seed Xavier University (La.) tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
