Players report to JCJC for MAC All-Star Fast Pitch Softball games

ELLISVILLE – Players from across the state reported for the annual MAC All-Star Fast Pitch Softball games on Thursday.

The 1A/2A/3A North and South All-Stars, along with the 4A/5A/6A North and South All-Stars held a meeting with MAC officials at 1:45 p.m. in Jones County Junior College's Wayne Hall and then had team photos taken. Heavy rains would not allow the teams to practice at Community Bank Park.

On Friday, a Home Run Derby (weather permitting) is scheduled at 6 p.m. The teams are then scheduled to go to Space Tag in downtown Ellisville to play laser tag and ride go-karts.

There will be four games played on Saturday. Beginning at 10 a.m., the first 1A/2A/3A game starts the day, followed by the first 4A/5A/6A game. At approximately 1:30 p.m., all of the All-Stars will be introduced followed by the second 1A/2A/3A game. The second 4A/5A/6A game will begin at approximately 3 p.m. and conclude the activities.

Saturday's games are scheduled to be webcast on http://www.playonsports.com/channels/mac.
