JONES COUNTY, Miss. - A Jones County Supervisor was arrested Tuesday night for driving under the influence.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said 41-year-old Barry Saul was driving a Chevy pickup north on Highway 11 near Magnolia Road. He was trying to turn right when he received a sudden hit him from behind.

Even though he wasn't the cause of the accident, officers found that Saul was operating his car under the influence.

He is charged with DUI first offense and was booked into the Jones County Adult Detention Center. Saul represents Beat 3 in Jones County.

No one was injured in the crash.
