Southern Miss Athletics to Sponsor University Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheon

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Department of Athletics invites University faculty and staff to an appreciation luncheon set for Wed., Aug. 28, from 12 noon until 2 p.m., in the South End Zone Touchdown Terrace at Roberts Stadium.

"We wanted to give back to our great faculty and staff here on campus and thank them for their hard work as we get ready to start our athletics season," said Southern Miss Director of Athletics Bill McGillis. "I'm looking forward to meeting many of them for the first time."

The event is open to the first 500 faculty and staff members as they will be treated to hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, chips, and cookies, along with a chance to interact with Southern Miss coaches and staff.
