Student Eagle Club Selling Tickets for a Side-by-Side Machine Giveaway

Proceeds will benefit Southern Miss student-athletes

HATTIESBURG, Miss.– The University of Southern Mississippi's Student Eagle Club announced Thursday that it has begun selling tickets for a chance to win a Can-Am Commander X  sport-rec-utility vehicle, donated by Hattiesburg Cycles.  The side-by-side, two-seat machine will be given to one lucky fan who possesses the winning ticket.

The Can-Am Commander X, which is black and gold by design, is classified as a sport-rec-utility vehicle.  With the ability to reach speeds of up to 75 mph, the off-road vehicle is equipped with best-in-class power and rider-focused comfort features.  Hattiesburg Cycles, the top Can-Am dealer in the country in 2013, donated the machine to the Student Eagle Club as the giveaway's grand prize.

The Student Eagle Club, a student-only organization, is committed to supporting and promoting all Southern Miss athletics programs.  Students will sell giveaway tickets all fall, with the drawing for the winner to take place Friday, Dec. 6, 2013.  The grand prize winner will be announced and receive the keys to the machine during a men's home basketball contest in December.

Tickets to participate in the giveaway are available for purchase now.  They can be purchased at Hattiesburg Cycles, at the Southern Miss Eagle Club (located in the Pat Ferlise Center) or by calling 601-266-5299.  In addition to those locations, Student Eagle Club volunteers will be around campus on football game days selling tickets in all tailgating areas.

Ticket prices are as follows:

(1) Ticket = $20

(3) Tickets = $50

(7) Tickets = $100

Rules and regulations applying to the giveaway may be found by visiting the Student Eagle Club website at StudentEagleClub.com.
