Lady Eagles Look for First Conference Win Against Tulsa

Posted: Updated:

Tomorrow's contest with Tulsa marks USM's third conference game of the season, and its first at home.

The Lady Eagles return from their three game road trip eager for a win, after going just 0-2-1 over that stretch.

USM enters Friday's game with a 6-3-3 overall record, but winning its first conference game of the season remains the priority.

"We always play with the will to win and get a positive result, and then go forward and attack," says Southern Miss head women's soccer coach Mohammed El-Zare. "It's definitely, certainly - we're going to go out there and play and get the result that we want which is winning the game."

Southern Miss goes for that first conference win at 4 p.m. on Friday.
