Petal WR Jesse Jackson Commits to Mississippi State - WHLT 22 Connecting the Pine Belt

Petal WR Jesse Jackson Commits to Mississippi State

Posted: Updated:

Petal wide receiver Jesse Jackson is officially a Bulldog.

"After long nights of deep discussion and consideration and prayer, I believe the best home for me is...Mississippi State University," said Petal wide receiver Jesse Jackson of his decision to play collegiate ball MSU.

State brings Jackson on board with a full ride. That means Ole Miss and Auburn take a back seat.

Jackson's commitment comes early in recruitment season - National Signing Day is Feb. 5.

He is the first Petal player to commit to a college this year, but when you know - you know.

"You know it's just a feeling I got when I went to the game," says Jackson. "It's just the cowbells and the fans is definitely an exciting moment."
