DURHAM, N.C. -

Durham Police returned to the scene of a homicide Wednesday in search of answers.

Police asked neighbors around the Magnolia Pointe Apartments in northern Durham for anything they might know about the homicide of 47-year-old Lorenzo Puebla Hernandez.

Police say someone shot him Oct. 12 as he was walking back to his apartment. Hernandez was taken to the hospital, where he died Saturday morning, police said.

No one has been charged.

Officers hope today's effort will bring in additional information to help them solve the case.
