Lady Eagle Basketball Features Plethora of Youth in 2013

Posted: Updated:

The Lady Eagle basketball team started three true freshman in Monday's exhibition game, and four new starters overall. The team features just five combined years of Division I experience on the roster, three of which belong to senior point guard Jamierra Faulkner. She already holds the school record for assists (592), and will be called on more than ever in 2013. The West Palm Beach, Fla. native was named to the Senior CLASS Award Watch List on Tuesday, which recognizes 30 student-athletes that excel on and off the court.

The Lady Eagles tip off their season against West Alabama at 11 a.m. on Friday.
