Comedy legend Jay Leno coming to DPAC

DURHAM, N.C. -

Jay Leno, comedy legend and longtime host of NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" will be bringing his standup act to the Durham Performing Arts Center in 2014.

The DPAC announced Monday that Leno will be performing on March 28, 2014.

Leno hosted "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" from 1992-2009 before moving to primetime. He moved back to late night in 2010 and has hosted since then and will continue to host the show until Feb. 2014 when Jimmy Fallon takes over as host.

"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" has won two Emmy Awards and Leno has published eight books, including two New York Times best-selling children's books.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. and Friends of DPAC members can place their orders on two days early on Nov. 13.
