Posted: Updated:

Maj. Don Scott of the Jones Co. Sheriff's Dept. said Jammie Arnold, 35, held an 18-year-old at gun point Sunday night.

While Arnold held the man in a house on Musgrove Drive near Houston road in the Shady Grove community, he sent a friend to get money and speakers.

The friend notified police of what was happening.

The JCSD activated their Crisis Negotiation Team and were able to talk the suspect out of the house.

They arrested him without incident, and no one was injured.

Justice Court Judge Howell Beech set Arnold's bond at $35,000 this morning.

The maximum sentence is life in prison.
