HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Hattiesburg Zoo is preparing for its annual ZooLights holiday event.

Every weekend for the rest of the month, the zoo will transform into a magical scene for the holidays.

This is also the first time zoo lights will be in 3D.

Guests will receive a pair of 3D glasses when they enter, and some of the features will come to life.

ZooLights will also feature animal shows and a station for kids to write letters to Santa.

Zoo staff members say this is a fun and exiting event for families with plenty of activities.

The dates for ZooLights are December 6 & 7, Dec. 13 & 14, and Dec. 20 & 21. It will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

It's a $10 admission for adults and $8 for children 2 through 12.
