Hattiesburg Police Name Suspect in Apartment Shooting

HATTIESBURG -- Hattiesburg police need your help finding a man they said is responsible for a drive-by-shooting.

They're looking for Dimitri Shepeard, 31, in connection to the Courtyards Apartments shooting that injured one man.

Police said they received a call around 4 p.m. Tuesday that shots were fired. One man was shot in the leg. Police found several shell casings of bullets at the crime scene.

Authorities believed Shepeard was driving a yellow and black Dodge Charger. They said he could be armed and dangerous.
