Habitat for Humanity Finishes Homes in TIme for Holiday

Posted: Updated:

Hattiesburg's Habitat for Humanity is preparing the home dedications for this weekend.

"It's going to be really special for them to have a place to call their own before Christmas," Habitat for Humanity Spokesperson Aime Nunez said.

The Bryant family got a chance to do a quick walk-through for their home today.

Habitat for Humanity staff said that they built this home in 2012 and it's been empty every since.

They said they are glad to pass the house along to the Bryant family who just had a baby five days ago.

The house dedication is scheduled for 9 a.m. this Saturday.

The Bryants said they are so grateful for their soon-to-be new home.

"We are glad we got this opportunity, and we are very happy to be new homeowners and we always wanted to be homeowners and we have that opportunity now, said new homeowner Charlsea Bryant.
