HATTIESBURG, Miss. - A Pensacola TV show spent the day in the Pine Belt highlighting one of Hattiesburg's restaurants.

"Tuesday's with Dan" is a newly syndicated show that's highlighting Leatha's BBQ located on Highway 98.

The owner, Leatha Jackson passed away three months ago, but before she died she wrote a book about her life experiences, called "If These Fields Could Talk".

The book is now out.

"Tuesday's with Dan" producers say Leatha's story really touched them and they wanted to do an episode about the book and her restaurant.

Her family says it's such an honor to be able to keep her legacy alive.

"We are very honored and very pleased that Hattiesburg would think enough of us to come out and support us," said Carolyn Stepney, Leatha's daughter.

The book is now on display at the restaurant.
