Mortgage Assistance Help For Hattiesburg Residents

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - If you are a homeowner and you would like for your mortgage to be paid for the next 24 months this opportunity may be for you.

It's a program for City of Hattiesburg residents. It's sponsored by the Mississippi Faith-Based Coalition for Community of Renewal and the City of Hattiesburg.

They will hold home ownership day Sat. Dec. 21 at the Ben McNair Center from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

You do have to qualify to be a part of the program.

Its for families who are in need of help.

Here's a list of documents needed: 

Copies of Utility Bill, 2011-2012 Tax Returns and W2s (transcript from the IRS), Mortgage Statement, Deed of Trust, Promissory Note, 2 months bank statements, pay stubs or unemployment award letter or any other income documents, Driver's License and Social Security Card.

*It's also suggested that you bring copies with you and not the originals.
