Hattiesburg Police Investigate Armed Robbery

Posted: Updated:

Two Wayne County residents spent their Christmas behind bars after an armed robbery.

Cadaris Odom, 27, of Shubuta and Quidonna Evans, 25, of Waynesboro are being held at the Forrest County Adult Detention Center.  Their bond is set at $75,000.

Police said around 4 on Christmas Eve a male and female reported to police they had been robbed at gun point at Carriage Inn on Broadway Drive.

Suspects stole their wallets, cell phone and money.

The victims gave a description, and police were able to apprehend Odom and Evans.  More suspects are at large, and police are asking anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 601-582-STOP (7867) or Hattiesburg Police at 601-291-9227.

Officials said the robbery involved some type of drug deal.
