Pikeville pair located in shed after grocery break-in

GOLDSBORO, N.C. - Deputies say they found a man and woman hiding inside an old shed after a Saturday morning break-in.

19 year old Brandon Hales and 37 year old Tammy Morris were located on Vail Street in Pikeville. They’re accused of breaking into Howell Brothers Grocery on West Main Street around 7 a.m.

Officers with the Fremont police force say they spotted the two running from the store when they responded to the call.

Hales and Morris were booked under $5,000 bonds.
