Authorities Investigate Hattiesburg Apartment Fire

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg Fire Department is working to determine the cause of an apartment fire.

Investigators say around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, they received a call about a fire that broke out at apartment number 6 at the Fountainbleau Apartments on W. 4th Street.

The fire department says the fire was contained to one room.

They say there was smoke damage done to other rooms.

The fire remains under investigation.
