Washington man charged after teen girl raped

WASHINGTON, N.C. - A Washington man is behind bars, accused of raping a teen girl.

Deputies say it happened on Whootentown Road in Washington January 9.

A report indicated the 14 year old victim was forcibly raped in a vehicle on the shoulder of the road.

41-year-old Hallie Holloway III (aka Ronnie) is charged with Second Degree Rape, Statutory Rape of a Person 13,14, or 15 Years Old by a Defendant More than Six Years Older than the Victim, and Indecent Liberties with a Child.

Holloway turned himself in on Monday. He's in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $300,000.00 secured bond.
