Model riding with Bieber during arrest from NC

Posted: Updated:

The woman who was with Justin Bieber when he was arrested in Miami Beach is from Eastern North Carolina, according to reports, and has launched a modeling career with a top Miami agency.

Chantel Jeffries went to White Oak High School in Jacksonville, WCTI reported.

"There are pictures of her in his Lamborghini...and that's when I was just like, that is absolutely insane," Jake Ronza, a former classmate, told WCTI. "I was never expecting it to amount to her being in such a scandalous story in a way, in a high-profile arrest of one of the biggest names in the entire world."

Jeffries has dated Philadelphia Eagles star DeSean Jackson and Diddy's son, Justin Combs.

Jeffries has been arrested before. The Onslow County Sheriff's Office said she was arrested Feb. 2, 2011, during an altercation with other females. WITN reported that the charge against Jeffries was later dismissed.

WCTI also reported Jeffries had been charged with speeding in Johnston and Sampson counties.

Bieber was charged with drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license early Thursday morning in Miami Beach. Jeffries was with Bieber in a yellow Lamborghini.

Jeffries is signed to the prestigious Wilhelmina Models, according to the modeling agency's website.
