Beer enthusiasts flock to local festival

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. - Local craft beer enthusiasts sampled more than 100 beers at the fourth annual Jolly Skull Beer Festival at the Greenville Convention Center on Saturday.

The one-day event brought more than 60 local and regional craft breweries with more than 125 beers to sample.

"We really just want this area, East North Carolina, to know what's going on with craft beer," festival organizer Scott Andrews said. "A lot of people don't understand there's more to beer than Bud Light or Budweiser."
