Bronze medalist visits Chapel Hill elementary school

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

Kids in Chapel Hill got some inspiration Friday from an Olympic athlete and while exercising along side him.

Bershawn Jackson won bronze in the 400 meter hurdles at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Jackson visited Glenwood Elementary as part of "Go Noodle," which brings short bursts of physical activity to classrooms through interactive computer games.

"As a kid, we all dream about being an Olympic track star," Jackson sad. "It's a blessing to actually be in that position and be an Olympian and giving back – letting these kids know it's possible. Sky's the limit. Anything you set your mind to, you can achieve."

Glenwood Elementary won a contest through "Go Noodle" to bring Jackson to Chapel Hill. The school completed more than 34,000 minutes of physical activity through more than 800 games to win.
