Laurel Residents Arrested for Shooting Each Other

The Following is a press release from Laurel Police Captain Tommy Cox:

On 02-21-14 at approximately 1213 hours, Officers of the Laurel Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at 4 Woodlawn Drive.  Both victims had left the scene at the time of the Officers arrival.

Shamon Woulard (Black/Male, 30 years of age, Add: 1503 Susie B. Ruffin) who had been shot in the hand and upper leg was transported by personal vehicle to SCRMC. Tevin Gilmore (Black/Male, 22 years of age, Add: 23 Marion Drive) was shot in the upper left arm and was located outside his residence. Gilmore was transported to SCRMC by ambulance.

After further investigation and after both subjects had received medical treatment, they were arrested and transported to the Laurel Police Department. Woolard and Gilmore face one count of Aggravated Assault each for shooting each other. Both will make their initial appearance in Laurel municipal Court on Monday. Lt. Jerome Jackson is the Lead Investigator in the case.
