HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Hattiesburg police are looking for a woman who they say allegedly struck the passenger of the car with the vehicle she was driving.

HPD has issued a warrant for 37-year-old Carrie Lea Reynolds, the alleged driver of the vehicle.

On Thursday a man was hit near the intersection of Interstate 59 and Hardy Street.

Witnesses told police that the victim was in the vehicle with a female driver and they appeared to be arguing.

They say the victim was either pushed out of the vehicle and was hit by the driver or he got out of the car and was hit.

The driver fled the scene.

Police say the car belonged to the victim and he knew the driver.

Anyone with information about Reynolds' whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-582-STOP (7867).
