Belle Chase, LA -

A Louisiana woman has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 17-month-old son.

She's accused of poisoning him with alcohol, hand sanitizer and perfume.

Lucas Ruiz battled health issues, but officials say what killed him was poison.

It happened at least twice and he didn't recover the second time.

Deputies say  20-year-old Erika Wigstrom confessed to injecting hand sanitizer in his feeding tube in  her home.

Lucas' autopsy showed his blood alcohol level was .28 percent, more than three times the legal limit for an adult.

Deputies say she also told them she poisoned her son in the hospital in October of 2012 as they waited for him to have surgery.

At the time, his father, Cesar Ruiz, confessed to pouring rum in his feeding tube. Now Wigstrom says it was her.

On her Facebook page she has a video that show her next to her son's coffin and her post said:"I have no more tears to shed because my kid is so cool God wanted him. I mean, if anybody is lucky it's me for being his mom. I'm not going to cry."
