JCJC hosts "An Evening With Coach Sean Payton"

ELLISVILLE – Jones County Junior College and the JCJC Foundation, Inc., will host "An Evening with Coach Sean Payton" on March 18 at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg.

Payton was hired as head coach of the New Orleans Saints in 2006. That year, he led the Saints to the NFC South title and a berth in the NFC championship game vs. the Chicago Bears.

In 2009, Payton guided the Saints to a 13-3 regular season record and a 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV. He led the Saints to an 11-5 record and a playoff berth this past season.

Payton owns a 73-39 coaching record and a 6-4 mark in the playoffs.

The doors will open at 6 p.m. at Lake Terrace with a silent auction and cash bar available. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. and Payton will speak at 7:30 p.m.

Individual tickets are $150. A Table Sponsor, which includes eight seats, eight JCJC football caps and recognition in the program, is available for $2,000.

An Event Sponsor is available for $5,000. This includes two tables with 16 seats in prime location, four passes to the VIP reception, 16 JCJC football caps, a football signed by Payton, recognition during dinner and recognition in the program.

New England Patriots' head coach Bill Belichick appeared at last year's event.

All proceeds will benefit the JCJC Foundation Football Support Fund.
