LUMBERTON, Miss. - The initial court hearing for the Lumberton man accused of stabbing a woman eight times was held Thursday.

29-year-old, Lamont Williams has a cash bond of $150,000.

He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, after allegedly stabbing the manager on duty at a Chevron station.

Police say the stabbing was caught on surveillance videos in and around the building.

Officials say they believe Williams may have been a disgruntled former store employee.

Williams remains in Lamar County Jail.
