JONES CO., Miss - The Jones County Sheriff's Department has shut down two illegal nightclub operations. Junior's Place and Dunks are both located in the Hebron community, and have been operating illegally for years.

Concerned citizens in the community complained of loud noise, shootings, and other unlawful behavior.

The illegal clubs admitted roughly 50 people each. Some patrons even came from out of state.

Jones County Deputies arrested several people in connection with the illegal operation. All individuals arrested face misdemeanor charges.

"The message that we try to send to the community is that we are working with them. We want them to know that by sending the message that we sent the other night, whenever we hit 'em again," said Jamie Tedford, Chief of Operations.

Deputies sizable amount of alcohol and drugs being sold in the nightclubs.

The Jones County Sheriff's Department says this isn't the first time they've shut them down, and it won't be the last.
