JONES COUNTY, Miss. - A Jones County man could face up to 30 years for injuring a Jones County Deputy.

Jones County Deputies were dispatched to a home on Red Hill Crossing where they say they found the suspect, Adam Mills unclothed and incoherent.

When more deputies arrived on the scene, Mills got violent and combative.

During the altercation Deputy Jody White's leg was severely injured.

"Deputy White was fell on by not only the suspect, but one of the other deputies. We've now found out that Deputy White has a fractured fibula," said Jones County Sheriff Sheriff Alex Hodge.

Mills is a repeat offender, he now faces Felony Assault on a law enforcement officer, if convicted he can be sentenced up to 30 years in prison.
