UPDATE:  The Greene County prison escapee that went missing on Tuesday is back in custody. 

Investigators say 35-year-old Matthew Tucker was found around 6 p.m. Wednesday. Tucker escaped while he was on a work detail at the farm located at the prison.

Tucker will now have to face an escape charge. He was serving a 10-year-sentence for kidnapping a minor form Coahoma County.

LEAKESVILLE, Miss. - Authorities are searching for a South Mississippi Correctional Institution Inmate that was discovered missing on Tuesday.

35-year-old Matthew Chester Tucker was at his work detail on the blueberry farm at the Greene County prison and was discovered missing around 11:20 a.m.

Tucker is a white male with brown eyes, brown hair, and weighs 145 pounds. Tucker is serving a 10-year sentence for a conviction of the kidnapping of a minor from Coahoma County.
