EASLEY, S.C. -

The Big League Worlds Series in Easley is entering its 7th day of competition on July 29th, and is hosting a regional matchup that decides who moves on to the championship game.

Today’s matchups are Latin America taking on Puerto Rico at 4 pm and SC District 1 squaring off against Southeast at 7:30 pm, with the winners of these matches moving onto the championship game on July 30th.

Southeast comes into this game off of a late sacrifice fly to fend off rival East 4-3 on July 28th. Tyler Hawkes recorded 6 strikeouts in just three innings of action for Southeast. Southeast’s only loss in the tournament was against SC District 1 as they beat West 6-4 on July 25th and won their opener against Southwest by a score of 8-7.
