Over 40 Firefighters Extinguish Fire In Asheville

Posted: Updated:
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Asheville Fire Department says that they have put out a fire at 1 Saint Dunstans Road in the early hours of August 4th.

The fire was reported at about 3:30 am, and the Ashville Fire Department says that the overhaul process has started. The business is the Biltmore Family Medicine.

The Asheville fire department says that the fire started on the first floor and quickly spread to the top floor.  They also say that the building is a total loss.  The home itself was built in the 1920's, and the fire department says they were able to get out some important possessions to the business.

Three firetrucks will remain on scene to keep an eye on the hot spots, and Dunstans Road is now only partially blocked.

We’ll bring you the latest on air and online.
