SPARTANBURG, S.C -

A Spartanburg business and two vehicles are the victims of a drive by shooting that happened in the early hours of August 4th.

The shooting happened on Hayne Street at around 2 am. Deputies say they got a call from a man claiming that two people fired a weapon at his business out of a Crown Victoria. There were bullet holes consistent with the man’s story, and there were bullets that hit two vehicles as well.

A woman that was sleeping in her friend’s Jeep was almost hit by one of the bullets, but she only received minor injuries from the glass shattering from when the bullet hit the windshield. Another vehicle was hit during the shooting, but nobody else was injured.

The man that called deputies believes that two people that he kicked out of his business earlier that day were to blame for the shooting. The man says after he kicked them out of his business, they threw something at him.

If you have any information about this case, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 864-582-7463.
